                Description

The hike begins at the Silvrettabahn valley station and first leads to the church, where the artistically designed altars, the elaborate ceiling paintings and the stucco with intricate foliage, which was unusual at the time, are particularly impressive. From the church, the route continues to the Hotel Valülla, where the signpost points towards the Silvretta Wildpark. On the south side of the valley, the path leads from Ischgl to Mathon. Numerous works by the artist Mathias Schmid are exhibited along the way. The main road is crossed above the Wildpark before the path gradually ascends and joins the valley hiking trail. The route continues in natural surroundings to Mathon, where the Farmers museum is located above the church. This provides fascinating insights into the traditional life and customs of times gone by. The way back leads along the valley hiking trail back to Ischgl and rounds off this cultural and nature-rich hike perfectly.
