Metalworking apprentice (m/f/d)
Metal technicians specializing in metal construction and sheet metal fabrication produce metal building and structural components such as frames, stairs, railings, and window and facade elements. They create construction plans and technical drawings and operate computer-aided systems and machines (CAD and CNC machines).
In their work, they use various metalworking processes such as cutting, welding, turning, milling, soldering or riveting.
Metal technicians in metal and sheet metal technology work in workshops and factory halls of steel and metal construction companies (commercial and industrial companies, locksmiths) in a team with professional colleagues, supervisors and various skilled and unskilled workers.

YOUR SALARY
1st year of apprenticeship €1,000.00 gross
2nd year of apprenticeship €1,148.00 gross
3rd year of apprenticeship €1,493.00 gross
4th year of apprenticeship €2,000.00 gross
Apprentices aged 18 and over receive €2,000, regardless of their year of apprenticeship.
Where does your vocational school training take place?
The apprenticeship follows the dual training principle. Vocational school is attended annually in a two-month block at the TFBS Metalltechnik (Technical College for Metal Technology) in Innsbruck.
