S.7.: Gamperthunalpe - Vorderes Kreuzjoch

Difficult hiking trail from See valley station Medrigjochbahn to Vorderes Kreuzjoch

Starting from the cable car station in See this hike takes you past the hamlets of Ahle and Klaus to Maierhof. From there hike along the forest road to the mountain station of Medrigjochbahn until you reach Hubertuskapelle. At the next crossroads take the path to Flathtal and the managed Gamperthunalpe. From the lodge there is a climb of around 2 hours to Vorderes Kreuzjoch, where your reward is the wonderful view to the Verwall mountain range and the Lechtaler Alps.

Return section: same route for the return leg. Use the forest road to take you into the valley to See, or take a shortcut to Habigen.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: See Dorf/Bergbahn
