A low-pressure system near the British Isles keeps sending weather fronts to the Alpine region. In between, dry air and a temporary high-pressure system will also reach us. Sunday will start off mostly cloudy and overcast with rain subsiding. Snow will fall in the mountains well below 2500 meters above sea level. The weather will calm down in the morning, followed by an improvement in the afternoon. At the beginning of the coming week (Monday), a temporary high will bring us plenty of sunshine, and it will become significantly warmer during the day. A southerly foehn wind will pick up. On Tuesday, the weather and temperatures will take another dip. Behind this, a new high-pressure area will extend its feelers towards us.
