THE BEE TRAIL
Information boards along the trail provide information about the life of the honey bee. The highlight is the bee house at the end of the educational trail.
Start: at the parking lot opposite the valley station of the Diasbahn Kappl - Kohlplatz cable car
Route: along the Visnitz forest path to the bee house and back to the starting point
Duration: on average approx. 15 - 30 min
The Paznaun Bee Nature Trail is a project by the Kappl Beekeepers' Association.
Escape Trail Kappl
An escape room in the great outdoors: Escape Trail Kappl combines adventure, treasure hunt and puzzle-solving into a unique experience. Instead of being locked in a room, you explore the stunning mountain scenery of Kappl while immersing yourself in a thrilling story. Equipped with a rucksack full of clues, locks and puzzles, you embark on a gripping mission that will keep you engaged for four to five hours.
Sports climbing in Kappl
The Climbing garden Niederelbehütte in Kappl combines varied climbing routes with an impressive alpine backdrop. Located right next to the Niederelbehütte lodge, the area offers several sectors and routes across different grades. The Kreuzjochblick climbing garden is suitable for experienced climbers, while the Märchenwiese climbing garden is perfect for families with children and beginners.
The climbing garden can be reached via the Diasbahn cable car followed by a hike, or more actively as part of a bike & hike tour. After a rewarding day on the rock, the Niederelbehütte lodge is the perfect place to stop for refreshments while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains.
Fishing in Kappl in Tyrol
Did you know that the Paznaun valley is Tyrol’s region with the greatest portion of fresh water and that it has excellent water quality? Perfect conditions to cast your line and enjoy the serene nature of the Tyrolean mountain village! The region boasts lovely spots to go fishing at up to 2,000 metres above sea level.
