At the PIUT Kids Day, the next generation of trail runners gains its first race experience at the PIUT Kids Run, with three age-appropriate distances combining plenty of fun, movement and outdoor adventure. After the award ceremony, a children’s concert with ANNIE & BONNIE keeps the good vibes going.

Even more happening on PIUT Friday
The PIUT Kids Run is just one of many highlights on Friday, 10 July 2026. Around the race, a varied supporting programme awaits families, spectators and trail running fans in Ischgl.
From 13:00 to 20:00, the PIUT EXPO in the Dorfstraße invites visitors to explore, browse and linger. At the Recovery Zone by BASEFIVE, visitors can try out movement screening, ice bath, Blackroll and compression boots from 11:00 to 20:00.
From 13:00, a varied supporting programme for kids provides plenty of entertainment. At 14:00, young trail running fans can find out more about the sport during “What is trail running?” before the PIUT Kids Run course inspection starts at 14:30.
At 15:00, the starting signal will be given for the PIUT Kids Run presented by Volksbank Tirol. Afterwards, the young trail runners will be celebrated at the prize giving ceremony including a tombola. As the finale of PIUT KIDS DAY, the band ANNIE & BONNIE will create a great atmosphere, turning the afternoon into an experience for the whole family.
Anyone keen to soak up even more PIUT atmosphere should not miss the evening: at 23:00, the PIUT 85 and PIUT 100 runners will start their big trail running night at the lake in See.

Registration for the PIUT Kids Run presented by Volksbank Tirol is available online in advance. Children can also be registered late on site on Friday, 10 July 2026.
Accreditation, starting number collection and late registration for the PIUT Kids Run takes place on Friday from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. The run then starts at 4:00 pm at Silvrettaplatz in Ischgl.
To allow enough time for bib number collection, preparation and excitement before the run, we recommend arriving in good time.
- Three age-appropriate distances: from the short Bambini loop to the 1,200-metre course.
- First race experience: child-friendly, motivating and without pressure to perform.
- Big finisher moments: with bib number, applause and finish-line feeling.
- Prizes for all children: sponsored by Volksbank Tirol and LEGO®.
- Award ceremony at 5:30 pm: a special moment for all young trail runners.
Short lap– approx. 150 m – For the youngest participants. Bambinis run accompanied by an adult.
- Bambini m/f: born in 2023 and younger
- Mini m/f: born in 2021–2022
1 lap– approx. 600 m – For children who would like to get a little more of a feel for trail running.
- Mini 2 m/f: born in 2019–2020
- Kids m/f: born in 2017–2018
2 lap– approx. 1,200 m – For older kids and young people keen to take on a longer course.
- Kids 2 m/f: born in 2015–2016
- Youth m/f: born in 2013–2014*
There is no cut-off date; the year of birth applies.
