THE WEATHER TODAY
At the start of meteorological autumn on Monday, another bad weather front is approaching from the west. It is associated with a strong low-pressure system near the British Isles. The sun will be increasingly obscured, and the first rain showers will set in later in the day. Temperatures are once again showing a downward trend. On Tuesday, thicker clouds will dominate the sky, and there will be rain showers at times and in some areas. In the mountains, snow will fall again down to around 2500 meters above sea level. The next temporary high will build up in the middle of the week. The air will become increasingly dry and stable. Thursday will then spoil us with plenty of sunshine and sharply rising temperatures. The weather and temperatures are expected to take another dip on Friday. It is still too early for details!
