For over seven years, photographer and extreme climber Heinz Zak travelled around his mountain home of Tyrol to capture it in extraordinary images. Hardly anyone else has experienced the mountains of Tyrol in such diversity.

In this lecture, Heinz focuses on experiences that anyone who enjoys being in the mountains can enjoy. He takes us on the most beautiful hikes, to the most interesting peaks and shows us wonderful places where you can simply relax and unwind. From the deepest medieval mines to the highest peaks, everything is covered in the lecture.

The book ‘Tirol - Magie der Berge’ (Tyrol - Magic of the Mountains) was awarded the BookAward 2024 at the ITB Berlin.
