our top-tips for your selfie
The Turs photo points are specially designed to help you take really cool, highlight-worthy photos without any help from others – easily and safely:
- Place your smartphone in the holder, ideally positioned for the perfect angle.
- Activate the self-timer or continuous shooting mode (e.g. 10 seconds).
- Or: start time-lapse mode, strike a pose and choose the best frame later.
- Simply pose and smile – the holder does the rest.
- Use different poses, movements or props – be creative!
The lighting makes all the difference – even at the Turs selfie stations.
- The golden hour in the morning or evening is ideal for warm, soft light.
- In winter, clear days with snow reflection ensure brilliant results.
- And if you like dramatic cloudscapes or mystical fog photos, just go out, try it out and set the self-timer.
Pro tip: Many of our stations are located at high altitudes, where you often have unobstructed views and excellent lighting conditions.
The Turs selfie spots work great without a lot of technology – but a few basics help:
- Smartphone with a good camera
- Sturdy case for your smartphone (so it sits securely in the holder)
- Power bank – so you don't suddenly find yourself without battery power
- Sunglasses or cap as a stylish extra
Even when it comes to selfies: nature comes first. Please note:
- Stay on the marked paths – the photo spots are easily accessible.
- Leave no trace – take your rubbish with you.
- The stations aren't toys – please handle with care.
- Watch out for slippery areas, especially in winter or when wet.
- Respect animals, plants and other guests – a good atmosphere starts with all of us.
