Construction Blog #2 – Höllkarbahn C2: Major Progress on Site! 🚧🚠
Construction of the new Höllkarbahn C2 in the Silvretta Arena is making excellent progress! Since work began in early May 2026, several key milestones have been reached: the valley station has been fully assembled, nearly all towers have already been erected along the line, and the first comfortable chairs featuring weather protection bubbles and heated seats have arrived.
In this second construction blog, we take you behind the scenes to showcase the latest progress and provide exciting insights into one of the most significant modernization projects in the Silvretta Arena. Markus Siegele also shares his thoughts on the strategic importance of the new lift and his personal impressions of the project.
The new 8-seater D-Line chairlift will span approximately 1,650 meters, overcome a vertical rise of 327 meters, and transport up to 4,200 passengers per hour. The lift is scheduled to open in time for the start of the winter season on November 26, 2026.
