Sportchirurgie Ischgl

The practice "Sport Chirurgie Ischgl" is the newest member of the Schenk family. It enables us to maintain a proven and seamless chain of care – from professional first aid on the slopes and transport (including, if necessary, with our own rescue helicopter), to diagnostic clarification, treatment, possible surgical intervention, and rehabilitation – all carried out quickly and gently for the patient.

Our practice is closed over the summer months and will reopen at the start of the winter season.

Medical Focus Areas

• Initial treatment, including pain management
• Primary care for all sports injuries, especially the reduction of dislocations and fractures, including stabilization
• Emergency surgical procedures
• Continued care at the parent hospital in Schruns
• Postoperative follow-up treatment on-site
• General medical diagnostics and treatment of various illnesses in proven collaboration with specialized departments
• Close cooperation with the experienced team at the emergency care station Heliport Idalp

Sport Surgery Ischgl is equipped with a digital X-ray system (Digital Diagnost C90, Philips), an MRI scanner (Ingenia 1.5T, Philips), and a CT scanner (Incisive CT, Philips).
