THE WEATHER TODAY
At the weekend, the influence of high pressure will slowly weaken across the country and the air stratification will become more unstable at the same time. However, subtropical warm air masses will still flow in, although they will slowly become more humid. On Saturday, the sun will shine for longer during the day and with the strong June sun, temperatures will rise to summery levels by the afternoon. Subsequently, however, a few thick spring clouds will develop from the mountains and isolated thunderstorms are quite possible. The wind may pick up strongly near thunderstorms. On Sunday, thick cumulus clouds will form quickly and then more rain showers and thunderstorms are to be expected. Strong gusts of wind will also be an issue. It will be muggy and warm. At the beginning of the week, the influence of high pressure will increase again. At first, isolated rain showers may still be possible on Monday. Subsequently, it will become increasingly sunny again and the sun will mostly shine for longer in the following days. Temperatures will also reach a summery level again.
