Sous Chef (m/f/d)

For the upcoming winter season, we are looking for a dedicated and responsible Sous Chef (m/f/d) to join our kitchen team at our 4-star superior hotel in the heart of Ischgl. As Sous Chef, you will be the right-hand person to our Head Chef and play a key role in providing our guests with culinary experiences of the highest standard every day. You will take on responsibility, support the organization of the kitchen, and serve as an important point of contact for the entire kitchen team.
  • Assisting the Head Chef in organizing and leading the kitchen brigade
  • Acting as the Head Chef’s representative in their absence
  • Collaborating on the planning and preparation of high-quality dishes
  • Ensuring smooth operations in all kitchen areas
  • Monitoring the quality, presentation, and service of dishes
  • Training, supporting, and onboarding staff
  • Assisting with ordering, inventory control, and stock management
  • Monitoring and adhering to HACCP guidelines as well as all hygiene and quality standards
  • Participating in menu planning and the development of new dishes
  • Assisting with shift and vacation scheduling in collaboration with the head chef
  • Completed training as a chef
  • Several years of professional experience in the hotel or restaurant industry, ideally in a similar position
  • Strong sense of quality and responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Leadership skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to handle pressure and strong organizational skills
  • Creativity and a passion for high-quality cuisine
  • Knowledge of German is a plus
  • Knowledge of English is required
