THE WEATHER TODAY
A high-pressure system moving from southwestern Europe to central Europe will determine the weather in the Alpine region throughout this week. At the same time, air that is significantly too mild for the season will once again be directed towards us from the western Mediterranean at the front of an Atlantic low-pressure system with a slight foehn-like southerly flow. From Tuesday to Friday, there will be mostly bright sunshine in a cloudless sky, with only a few clouds at times. A few isolated high veil clouds will hardly interfere. The frost line will be close to 3900 meters above sea level at times. Little change in the prevailing weather conditions is expected for the coming weekend. It will only be a little cooler in the mountains.
